Beef Expo - Feilding May 2015

We were thrilled to have our bull "Brookwood J32" be judged at the Beef Expo as 1st place in the 2 year old Bulls (used section).   He sold for $12,000 to Waiterenui Stud ( Viv and Will McFarlane). We are excited that he has gone to a well renowned stud and are looking forward to seeing his progeny in the future.

We have 3 flush brothers to "Brookwood J32" in our catalogue of sale bulls at CASHBAC in Dannevirke on 9th June.

To top off the day, we purchased Ranui I650 who was judged "Reserve Champion Angus" from the Johnstone's of Wanganui. He is a well framed bull by Waitangi D213 with a good set of figures resulting in an Angus Pure index of 161. We have weaners on the ground now by Waitangi D213 and they are showing great promise at this stage. This was part of the decision in purchasing the Ranui bull.
